About me
My name is Andrew Evans. I am a native British English speaker based in Nottingham and have been studying and working with the German language for most of my life. After completing my degree in German and Economics, I became an in-house translator at a specialist financial and legal translation company in Frankfurt. I have also successfully completed a PhD in German history. My work takes me from Cold War era historical archives to the latest analyst reports on the financial markets. I have lived and worked in Germany for more than four years, giving me an in-depth knowledge of the culture.
I always enjoy a linguistic challenge and have honed my translation skills by earning the IoLET Diploma in Translation, which is regarded as a benchmark for the industry. I am passionate about writing and helping you to impress your readers with a top-quality text.
